Inclusion in Art Institutions

This short questionnaire contributes to a doctoral study analysing inclusion/exclusion within the art museum/gallery through an intersectional lens. It aims to capture current attitudes towards how inclusion/exclusion is experienced and perceived within UK museums and art galleries, seeking to understand attitudes towards institutional practices, curatorial influence, and representation of under-represented groups.

My name is Geneva Lavern Beckford, and I am a doctoral researcher at Liverpool John Moores University. At present I am conducting research into the use of intersectionality as tool for combatting ongoing issues of identity-based exclusion within arts institutions.
